Phalaenopsis Orchid
The phalaenopsis orchid is a flower that is a common species for hobbyist to plant. This species is hardy and fairly resilient, as long as they find a home with a proper drainage system. Commonly referred to as the moth orchid, this species flourishes during the months of December through May.
A phalaenopsis orchid, although easy to plant and manage, are still viewed by most people as exotic, therefore lending them to a higher price range. This species is often the flower of choice for many brides, as they make a beautiful cascading bouquet.
